General Plan Update 2024 "Imagine NSL 2046"

The City has begun the process of updating the City's General Plan, and we would like input from our residents. The updated plan will guide growth in the City to the 100th anniversary of North Salt Lake in the year 2046.

General Plan 2013

The City Council adopted the General Plan on May 21, 2013. The Moderate Income Housing Plan was updated on November 17, 2020. The General Plan acts as a blueprint for the future development of the City of North Salt Lake. Click on the links below to view the chapters of the General Plan:

Town Center Market Study

Town Center Traffic Circulation Study

Active Transportation Plan

The City Council adopted the South Davis Active Transportation Plan as an update to the General Plan on January 21, 2020. Click on the link below to review the plan:

Moderate Income Housing Report

Each year, the City Council reviews updated data in the Moderate Income Housing Plan, makes findings regarding the goals and strategies within the plan, and reports that to the state Department of Workforce Services.
