The Community Development Department is responsible for all current and long range planning, building plan checks and inspections, as well as administration of grants and special housing programs.

Mission

The Community & Economic Development Department is where all development-related activities in the City of North Salt Lake begin. Our mission is to implement strategies and processes that will ensure new construction and redevelopment projects which are consistent with the community’s vision and are compatible with the design expectations of the community.
