Join us in celebrating the 12th anniversary of the Get to the River Festival on Saturday, September 13th! This year's "Jordan River Paddle" includes a canoe/kayak trip along a beautiful 3-mile stretch of the Jordan River. Registration is required for the event and boat reservations must be requested in advance.
Join us in celebrating the 12th anniversary of the Get to the River Festival on Saturday, September 13th! This year's "Jordan River Paddle" includes a canoe/kayak trip along a beautiful 3-mile stretch of the Jordan River. Join us at 8:30 am at the Riverview Boat Ramp in Salt Lake City (1835 N. Redwood Rd.) where you will park your vehicles. We will end at Porter's Landing Boat Takeout in North Salt Lake (50 South Jordan River Drive) where a food truck (Supercharged Smoothies) will be available for a free after-paddle breakfast! A free shuttle will be provided for transportation back to your vehicles at the put-in location after breakfast.
Canoes and kayaks (along with life vests) will be available on a limited basis at no cost to you, but please feel free to bring your own. Registration is required for the event and boat reservations must be requested in advance. This is no longer a first-come first-served event. Registration for this event will open on August 1st.
