The Finance Department is pleased to provide services to nearly 5,000 residential and commercial utility customers now. Additionally, department employees take care of the needs of 56 full-time and approximately 125 seasonal or part-time employees each year.
General obligation debt is rated at AA- or better. Water bond debt rates were upgraded from BAA+ to an A rating in July 2006, and then to AA- in 2010. The city received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting (CAEFR) twice this past decade.
